On Friday, August 5, Bishop Fernandes celebrated Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral for the staff, students and families of Chesterton Academy of St. Benedict.

During Mass, the staff of Chesterton Academy made a profession of faith and oath of fidelity pledging to be faithful to the Church and the bishop. At the conclusion of Mass, the school choir sang the Salve Regina.
