Cristo Rey Columbus High School graduated a class of 85 students at its 10th commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 6. The Baccalaureate Mass was held Wednesday, June 3 at Columbus Holy Cross Church.

Class members were accepted to 125 higher learning institutions, of which they will attend one of 23. They earned $1.9 million in college scholarships and completed 5,189 hours of community service.

The Evans Scholarship, which covers college housing and tuition, was awarded to Bintou Diallo and Dakotah Zureich-Hazlett, who plan to attend Ohio State University, and Me’Kiayla Phillips, who will attend John Carroll University.

Gedion Melakie was valedictorian and plans to attend Ohio State University this fall. Liam Lyon was salutatorian and will attend the University of Notre Dame.
