On August 17, 2026, educators from around the Diocese of Columbus gathered for Educators’ Evangelization Day at St. Charles Preparatory School.

The title of this year’s day was “Educating for Eucharistic Amazement”. Keynote talks were given by Bishop Thomas A. Daly, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Spokane, and Sister Mary Michael Fox, OP, of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia. Rebecca Rook, Ph.D., led educators throughout the day and following each keynote talk, administrators from Our Catholic Schools – Columbus gave a brief reflection.

Before breaking for lunch, Bishop Earl K. Fernandes concelebrated Mass with Bishop Daly and priests who serve as chaplains or pastors at diocesan schools. Educators also had the opportunity to go to the Sacrament of Confession, which over 30 priests were present to administer, as well as a Holy Hour to close out the day.
